TO DIY (OR TO NOT DIY), THAT IS THE QUESTION (Written by the bookish office gal):

We've all done it - started a project - and realised half-way in that we've bitten off more than we can chew...

Whether it's removing (layer upon layer) of old wallpaper, refinishing a floor, or trying our hand at a mosaic back-splash, I can guarantee we all have at least one story that's laugh-worthy.

I decided long ago to leave anything with an electrical current or running water to the pros... But have been known to get in over my head on occasion (you should see my taping/dry-walling skills.... ahem)
